Im trying to get Part changes data for that particular part using AML. I unable to get the changes data.
I need change number and title to be printed in Report,
For that I wrote Report query
<Item type="Part" id="xxyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy" action="get" select="item_number,name">
<Relationships>
<Item type="Part changes" action="get">
</Item>
</Relationships>
</Item>
But i unable to get any data from changes tab.
If any one know kindly help me.

Dear Team,
I would like to retrieve a Part changes data using AML and show in Report.For example a Part A has ungerone ECN (ECN0001) which is there in Changes Tab.
I need to retrieve the change no and description field in report.
So im trying XSLT,in which
AML is

how to fetch Part changes data for that part in AML query.
And how to fetch in style sheet,If some one tried this kind of scenario kindly help me.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both SQLExpress and Aras 9.4 locally to resolve my previous issue of receving an "Invalid object name 'User' " error when trying to login as admin, but now that I am able to log in this exception is thrown whenever I try to select anything from the TOC Pane.
Am I missing an adjustment in a config file somewhere? I am new to this and trying to setup a personal sandbox so I don't blow out our current dev or production data. Thanks.
We are running Innovator 10.0. Images loaded into the /Client/images folder are not visible in the Aras image browser. This includes .jpg, .png, and .svg files. Is there another step to loading these images into Aras in addition to copying them into the designed folder?
We're also experiencing another issue that may or may not be related to the one above. An image that we imported using the "External File" option to establish as the small/large icon image for a custom ItemType won't display as the TOC icon. It is, however, visible in the tear-off window for the ItemType. Are there specific size/type requirements that the image must meet?
Any help that can be given will be greatly appreciated!
I use Innovator 9.3 ,OS Win2008R2(x64),sql server2008R2
when I click -->ItemType --> Report -->ItemType Definition Report Or the other 2 report ,
I have got an error message below,
then I install msxml4.0 sp3 in my computer,but still I get this error message.
Last night,I install Innovator 9.3 in Win2003(x32), and those reports are correctly showed.
My Question is How Can I Get these Reports In Win2008R2?

Has anyone in countered the "Not a single item" error? Reading through the forums one member renamed the ItemType and another had bad code inside of a Life Cycle method. Both the Life Cycle method and the item type name have not changed. The user is trying to run a DCO against two CAD documents. The actions are set to change and the interchangeable check box is checked. I haven't encountered this error before. The CAD doc is connected to a BoM that is currently released, is that the issue? OnSearchDialog and,
Default Search.
when this Default Search event will fire?
Even in Programmers guide this is not specified...

Is it somehow possible to set a default sort order on in example the BOM relationship view?
When adding parts to a BOM like the example below. When opening the BOM it will sort on Sequence. I would like to sort on Part Number instead as default. It would save the users from clicking on the Part Number column header so set the sort order each time a part is opened.

When I create Part BOM structure through AML in NASH tool ,I write follow code:

I tried to find answers about this but it seems there isn't any? Hopefully that means that it is obvious ;-)
I've added a class-tree for parts as below example:
- PART
- MECHANICS
- FASTENERS
- Screws
The issue is that if i create a new part, the part type then reflects this complete hierarchy (MECHANICS/FASTENERS/Screws) , instead of just showing "Screws" in the search grid.
Also, I use this class to build the part name, and don't want to have the complete hierarchy shown there.
Any suggestions?

when I create Part BOM , I want to realize a data sharing. For example:
I want bulid following two uncorrelated BOM Structure:
BOM Parent Child
Product A : Part C ——> Part A
Product B : Patr C ——>Part B
theParent Part C can be extended to Part A and Part B. But the two structrue are independent. there is no relevance between them. They would be maked up two different producuts.

The default behavior when I double click on a My InBasket Activity, the default behavior is open the Update Activity page. However, I want to change this behavior to run my own method such as open the controlled item.

Hi,
I use top.aras.uiShowItem(itemType,itemiD) in JavaScript to open an item window. As this method do not have any return value, I don't know how to access to the opened window and get some information such as whether the window is closed.
In JavaScript, there is a standard method window.open() that will return a Window object, and I can use this object to access to the opened window.
So, my question is:
How to get a handle to the opened window from top.aras.uiShowItem(itemType,itemiD), or is there any alternative way to open a item window and get a handle at the same time?

Hi,
I can add a context menu action to an ItemType, and the action will show on the Item's context menu as a menu item. But when I add an action to the Workflow Process Activity's Action relationship, the action will not appear on context menu of My InBasket Activities.
So, does anyone has some ideas about how to add a context menu action to My InBasket Activities?
