Currently in aras calendar the week starts on Sunday, it is confusing in a working environment where a week starts on monday.
Is it possible to change the first day of the week somewhere?

Alternates, substitutes and reports

I'm considering using substitutes or alternates in a BOM I'm building. Key to the decision is how easy it is to 'see' them in reports and in day-to-day use of the search menus.
1) If I use a substitute, is there any way to see it in a BOM other than checking each individual component in turn? i.e. is there any standard view in which it's visible?
2) I have a version of the standard Multilevel BOM Report that I've hacked down to show just a couple of levels of parts and quantities. How would I add an alternate or substitute part to this report? I understand I'd need to add a new query to the Report tab; if you could help with that, I can probably figure out how to call it in the Stylesheet tab...

Workflow Reminder Emails not recognizing the "Open Assignments" target
Good morning,
I am having some difficulty understanding the Workflow reminder emails in our Aras Innovator 11 installation. We are not on the subscription plan yet so I am manually running the “Send Email Reminders” action daily to test this workflow feature.
I currently have a notification associated to a workflow activity with (3) Assignments listed (Individual Identities not groups), the event is set to “On Remind” and the target is set to “Open Assignments”. The interesting part is that if none of the 3 complete the task, I receive (9) email reminders on the first reminder day, if one person completes the task, I received (6) emails, if two people complete the task, I received (3) emails.
All assignments get at least one reminder email regardless if they already completed the task or not (contrary to the target of only “Open Assignments) but the number of emails does suggest that Aras understands that people have completed the task.
My thought is that with the “On Remind” event, Aras takes the “On Remind” for each person and sends a notification to all assignments without regard to the target being only “Open Assignments”
As a note, I tried not having an “On Remind” specific notification with only the standard “On Activate” notification and I did not receive any email reminders.
Can someone enlighten me as to how this function works or if I have something setup incorrectly? I'm hoping that I have overlooked something simple here :)

PLM Solution Needed: Create a Dropdown List that Accesses Identities (Users and Groups)
I would like to setup a dropdown list that accesses (pulls from) Identities (users & groups of users) so that a user can choose the Identity quickly instead of performing a search or typing in the complete name. The list should populate as the user types; an example of this is seen in the "PR" Item Type under the TOC Access tab, when editing the Category.
I am planning to add this feature to a workflow where Users will choose Approvers, Acknowledgers, etc. that will be assigned to the workflow's activities. Note that Auto Assign has already been implemented by a PLM consultant; however, the user must type the full name or search for the Identity at this time whereas a Dropdown List of Identities would greatly increase efficiency.
Can I simply create a LIST of all Identities and then map it to the LIST, or will the call fail b/c it's not the actual Identity in the system?

I want to fetch complete data in the form of xml using aml query by using C#.net. But how can I get this complete data in aras object and assign it to list ? which library need to use? Is there any one have Sample source code ?

Updating lifecycle name change on parts
Hello,
We currently have a database with around 3000 components and would like to make slight modifications to the names of lifecycle states (Translate from English to Local Language)
I have so far added labels to lifecycle states, the lifecycle under Part does reflect the change, but state on the main grid does not.
Is there anyway to update the lifecycles so they would show updated values without resetting released state of parts?

[Multilevel BOM Report] - Quantities issues
Hello all,
I have just noticed a quantity issue with the Multilevel BOM Report, when an item is repeating itself in different Products the quantity attribute is always the same, see the following screenshot:
The BOM structure TAB: (the quantities are correct)
The Costing Report: (quantities are still correct)
The Multilevel BOM Report: The quantities are now wrong, the item Part2.CATPart should be instantiatedt twice under the Product1 and 3 times under the Product2.
I haven't updated the Multilevel BOM Report and the AML query of the report seems to work fine, I've checked it in with AML studio.Does anyone has also this quantity problem? Is it an error with the XLS stylesheet?

ECR Workflow Owner question
I have a question on how the owner assignment works in the ECR process. When an owner is assigned on the form, it is automatically applied to the tech review assignments and the disposition. The item on the form is owned_by_id and I can not figure out how that is related to owner on the workflow map. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Promote Item Part from "Manual Change" to "Released" shows effective_date error
Hi All,
By Default, when I promote an Item Part from "Manual Change " to "Released" after I edited the item during the Part's State in Manual Change and Saved and Unlocked. An Error was shown saying:
"The value of the effective_date property specified for the Part is invalid. A value is required and it must be greater than or equal to the today date"
Is this a bug by default from Innovator?

Total project percent complete

Innovator 9.2 - WorkFlow Error : AddItem_Implementation_AddAccessDenied
Hi,
I have installed in my pc Innovator 9.2
i am getting error like : AddItem_Implementation_AddAccessDenied
I have created one simple itemtype and place some textbox & gave permission as world can add.
I added one simple workflow with one activity.
If i run with admin user there is no error & the workflow also going smooth
If i run as normal user i am getting the error.

Workflow map activity owner mapping to Org role
Hi team,
In case of OOTB PR item type workflow, the activity "Review PR" and "Approve PR" both are assigned to Change Specialist 1 identity.
Here, I wanted "Review PR" activity is to be assigned to one org role, for example Quality person and Approve PR activity to be assigned to Design Moderator or any other role other than the Quality team member.
I understand that easy way to replace the owner for the activity. But, I wanted to keep the Change Specialist 1 and map different org roles as per activity only through configuration?
